Virginia Recognizes 14 Arlington Schools for Excellence in Education

ARLINGTON, Virginia, June 27 -- The Arlington Public Schools issued the following news release:

Governor Ralph Northam and the State Board of Education announced that 14 Arlington schools have earned 2018 Virginia Index of Performance (VIP) awards based upon student achievement and other performance indicators during the 2016-17 school year.

The awards were created by the Board of Education to recognize schools and divisions that exceed state and federal accountability . . .
