Leesburg Man Sentenced to 14 Years in Federal Prison for Carjacking

OCALA, Florida, May 16 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida issued the following news release:

U.S. District Judge Roy B. Dalton, Jr. today sentenced Avery Tumer (24, Leesburg) to 14 years and 2 months in federal prison for carjacking, conspiracy to commit carjacking, brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
