PORTLAND, Oregon, March 16 -- Oregon State Treasurer Tobias Read issued the following news release:

In just a few months, Oregon's landmark retirement savings program has helped many first-time savers to invest in themselves and collectively set aside more than $1.5 million, State Treasurer Tobias Read announced today.
