NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, March 14 -- Democrats for Education Reform issued the following news release:
On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, the Louisiana Supreme Court released its ruling on the case of Iberville Parish School Board, et al v. Louisiana State Elementary and Secondary Education Board, et al. By a 5-2 vote, the Supreme Court overturned the Appellate Court's January 2017 ruling that jeopardized funding for 16,000 Louisiana students who attend a Type 2 public charter school.
