HOUSTON, Texas, March 14 -- The Baylor College of Medicine issued the following news release:
A research team at the Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine has been approved for a $489,000 funding award by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to disseminate and implement a trial-tested decision aid (DA) for left ventricular assist device (LVAD) treatment for advanced heart failure.
