WASHINGTON, March 13 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Jessie K. Liu, issued the following news release:
A former management analyst for the District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) pled guilty today to federal charges stemming from schemes in which she accepted bribes in return for clearing the way for payments to be made on fraudulent invoices that cost the D.C. government more than $480,000.
