ARLINGTON, Virginia, March 12 -- The National Science Teachers Association issued the following news release:

The second edition of Uncovering Student Ideas in Science, Volume 1 lets K-12 teachers pinpoint what their students know (or think they know) so teachers can adjust their lessons accordingly.
