WASHINGTON, March 12 -- The American Heart Association issued the following statement by CEO Nancy Brown on "Leading with Nutrition: Leveraging Federal Programs for Better Health," a report from the Bipartisan Policy Center, which lays out strategies for improving the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program:
