WASHINGTON, March 12 -- The Council of Chief State School Officers issued the following news release:
The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) Board of Directors has named Carissa Moffat Miller as its next executive director, effective March 19. She will become the first woman to serve as the organization's executive director in its 90-year history.
