MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C., Jan. 13 -- The city of Mount Pleasant issued the following press release:
As South Carolina's unemployment rate is expected to rise during the upcoming year, the U.S. Census Bureau is looking to fill more than 15,000 jobs in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The financial impact of the census is expected to be felt throughout the Lowcountry and Mount Pleasant residents could benefit from this unexpected boon.
