LEBANON, Ill., Aug. 4 -- McKendree University issued the following news release:
Dean Smith, adjunct trombone and music arranging instructor, recently won first prize in the American Music in the Armed Forces Composition Competition, sponsored by the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC).
