LEBANON, Ill., Sept. 23 -- McKendree University issued the following news release:
The McKendree University debate team brought home 11 awards last weekend, including third place in debate sweepstakes and two individual first place finishes, at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. on Sept. 19-21. Eighteen colleges and universities competed in the tournament, including Creighton University, Texas Tech University, and Willamette University.
