PUBLIC HEARINGS SCHEDULED FOR TWO TROUT WATER CLASSIFICATION PROPOSALS IN FRENCH BROAD RIVER BASIN

RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 1 -- The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources' Division of Water Quality issued the following news release:

Public hearings are scheduled to collect comment on proposals to reclassify waters in two French Broad watersheds - Boylston Creek, in Henderson and Transylvania counties, and Fines Creek in Haywood County - as trout waters.
