WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 -- The office of Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer today announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded $802,465 to Kingston through HUD's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This formula grant will assist in providing critical housing services for Upstate New Yorkers not readily available through any other private or government source.
