WASHINGTON, Sept. 17 -- Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif., has introduced legislation (H.R. 6805) to "prohibit the use of restraints and restrictive housing on inmates during the period of pregnancy, labor and postpartum recovery, to collect data on incarcerated pregnant women in the United States and the results of such pregnancies, to address the health needs of incarcerated women related to pregnancy and childbirth."

Sen. Feinstein Introduces Resolution to Designate National Workforce Development Month
WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 632) designating September 2018 as National Workforce Development Month.
The resolution was introduced on Sept. 18 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Orrin G. Hatch, R-Utah, Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., and Michael B. Enzi, R-Wyo. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
