Rep. Bilirakis Introduces DEA Enforcement and Authority Act
WASHINGTON, Sept. 7 -- Rep. Gus Bilirakis, R-Fla., has introduced the DEA Enforcement and Authority Act (H.R. 6702) to "clarify the congressional intent behind the requirements relating to immediate suspension orders and corrective action plans under the Controlled Substances Act that were added by the Ensuring Patient Access and Effective Drug Enforcement Act of 2016."

Rep. Kelly Introduces Bill on Health Insurance Coverage Statements
WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 -- Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., has introduced legislation (H.R. 6718) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to provide that health insurance coverage statements are required to be provided to individuals only upon request."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 6 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Mike Thompson, D-Calif., and Diane Black, R-Tenn. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
