CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, Feb. 14 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina issued the following news release on Feb. 13, 2025:
Today, U.S. District Judge Kenneth D. Bell sentenced an armed cocaine trafficker to five years in prison, announced Lawrence J. Cameron, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina. Cleveland Pegues, 40, of Charlotte, was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release after he is released from prison.
