Ky. PSC: Duke Energy Kentucky Withdraws Application for Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization System Conversion
FRANKFORT, Kentucky, Jan. 7 -- Duke Energy Kentucky has withdrawn its application to convert its Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization (WFGD) system at the East Bend Generating Station from a quicklime to a limestone handling process.
The company cited the need to re-evaluate its application due to new information that emerged during the review process.
