Ill. Natural Resources Dept. Illinois Lauds Progress on Brandon Road Interbasin Project Construction
SPRINGFIELD, Illinois, Dec. 12 -- The Illinois Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
The Brandon Road Interbasin Project on the Illinois River near Joliet took a significant step forward with the first construction contract awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, on Nov. 27.

Ind. U.S. Attorney: Mishawaka Man Sentenced to 286 Months in Prison
SOUTH BEND, Indiana, Dec. 11 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana issued the following news release:
Jarin Devon Noojin, 26 years old, of Mishawaka, Indiana, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Cristal C. Brisco after pleading guilty to distributing fentanyl resulting in death, announced United States Attorney Clifford D. Johnson.
Noojin was sentenced to 286 months in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release.
