New Air-to-Surface Weapon Achieves Milestone Release
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, Dec. 2 -- The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center issued the following news:
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- A tactical air-to-surface missile, known as the Stand-in Attack Weapon, successfully released from a 40th Flight Test Squadron F-16 Fighting Falcon for the first time Nov. 7 over the Gulf of Mexico.
The goal of the test was to prove the new weapon could separate from an aircraft successfully, a major milestone, so further testing can begin.

U.S. Attorney for D.C.: Ohio Man Sentenced to Prison for Assaulting Law Enforcement With Trump Billboard, Other Offenses During Jan. 6 Capitol Breach
WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia issued the following news release:
An Ohio man was sentenced to prison today after he was previously convicted of assaulting law enforcement with a Trump billboard and other offenses during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol. His actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.
