CAIR Condemns White Supremacist Highway Banner in Virginia
WASHINGTON, Nov. 25 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release on Nov. 24, 2024:
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a highway banner reportedly put up by the white supremacist group Patriot Front in Virginia.
Roanoke, Virginia, police removed the banner that was hanging from an overpass on the Elm Avenue bridge over Interstate 581 early Friday morning.
