COLUMBIA, South Carolina, Nov. 22 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina issued the following news release: Jeffrey Alan Benjamin, 62, was sentenced to a year and a day in federal prison after pleading guilty to causing SCANA, a publicly-traded company, to keep false records in connection with the failed V.C.
