U.S. Attorney for D.C.: Mississippi Man Pleads Guilty to Civil Disorder During Jan. 6 Capitol Breach
WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia issued the following news release:
A Mississippi man pleaded guilty on Nov. 19, 2024, to a felony charge of civil disorder as a result of his conduct during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol. His actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.
