Disaster Recovery Center Opening in Oconee County
WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
A Disaster Recovery Center will open in Oconee County to provide in-person assistance to South Carolinians affected by Hurricane Helene.

S.C. U.S. Attorney: Final Defendant Pleads Guilty, Three Others Sentenced in Upstate Meth Trafficking Case
SPARTANBURG, South Carolina, Oct. 24 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina issued the following news release:
Three members of an Upstate drug ring have been sentenced to federal prison and the final member has pleaded guilty for their role in a methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy.
