ST. PAUL, Minnesota, Oct. 24 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-St. Paul District issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul, Rock Island and St. Louis districts, are seeking public comments on a draft systemic forest stewardship Programmatic Environmental Assessment, or PEA, as part of the Navigation and Ecosystem Sustainability Program. Comments are due by Nov. 23.

Miss. U.S. Attorney: Sixteenth Defendant Sentenced for Prison Drug Conspiracy
GULFPORT, Mississippi, Oct. 24 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi issued the following news release:
A Long Beach, Mississippi man was sentenced to 99 months in federal prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Johnson Tran, 47, was sentenced on October 17, 2024, in U.S. District Court in Gulfport.
