GWU Media Tip Sheet USDA Identifies Schools Who May be Impacted by Meat Recall
WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 -- George Washington University issued the following news:
Following a recall of ready-to-eat meat by BrucePac over possible listeria contamination, the USDA has released a list of schools that received the products.
The list includes schools in Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia.

CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Oct. 22 -- The West Virginia Legislature issued the following news release on Oct. 21, 2024:
Joe Funkhouser became the newest member of the West Virginia House of Delegates Monday, Oct. 21.
Funkhouser, a fourth-generation Jefferson County resident, was appointed to serve the 98th Delegate District, which is made up of a portion of Jefferson County. He will complete the unexpired term of former Delegate Paul Espinosa, R-Jefferson.

BUCKHANNON, West Virginia, Oct. 21 -- West Virginia Wesleyan College issued the following news:
BUCKHANNON, West Virginia Faith Yoho '26, a junior at West Virginia Wesleyan College, embraced an opportunity in New York City as a Resident Counselor for Barnard College.
This past Summer, Yoho worked for Barnard's Pre College Program as a resident counselor. This program allowed high school students from around the world to take college classes with Ivy League faculty.
