Ala. Gov. Ivey Deploys Transportation Workers to Florida, Public Health Support Team to North Carolina
MONTGOMERY, Alabama, Oct. 12 -- Gov. Kay Ivey, R-Alabama, issued the following news release on Oct. 11, 2024:
Governor Kay Ivey on Friday announced the deployment of Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) workers to Florida to aid with cleanup and recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricanes Milton and Helene. Additionally, Alabama is sending a public health support team to North Carolina to assist in their Helene recovery.
