NASA Awards Aerospace Research, Technology, and Simulations Contract
WASHINGTON, Oct. 10 -- NASA issued the following news release:
NASA has selected Metis Technology Solutions Inc. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, to provide engineering services as well as develop and maintain software and hardware used to conduct simulations for aerospace research and development across the agency.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
One week remains for New Mexico residents impacted by the South Fork and Salt Fires and flooding that occurred June 17 through Aug. 20 to apply to FEMA for federal disaster assistance for temporary lodging, basic home repairs, personal property losses and other disaster-related expenses.
