W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Ohio County Man Admits to Role in Drug Trafficking Operation
WHEELING, West Virginia, Sept. 6 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia issued the following news release:
Daryl Smith, 50, of Wheeling, West Virginia, has admitted to the distribution of cocaine base.
According to court documents, Smith was selling cocaine base in Ohio County. Smith is one of 12 defendants involved in a drug trafficking operation that spanned from Las Vegas, Nevada to the Ohio Valley.

W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Ohio Man Admits to Methamphetamine Trafficking
WHEELING, West Virginia, Sept. 6 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia issued the following news release:
Stephan G. Ward, 32, of Akron, Ohio, has admitted to the distribution of methamphetamine.
According to court documents, Ward, also known as "YG," was delivering methamphetamine to others for distribution in Marshall County.

CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Sept. 6 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Sept. 5, 2024:
Timothy Edwin Payne Jr., 43, of Belpre, Ohio, was sentenced today to 11 years and eight months in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of a fentanyl analogue.

Woman Wanted for Killing Cleveland Man Arrested by U.S. Marshals in Sandusky
WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Marshals Service issued the following news release on Sept. 5, 2024:
Sandusky, OH - Earlier this afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Le'ceeonna White, 21. White was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.
