HUNTINGTON, West Virginia, Aug. 27 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Aug. 26, 2024:
Walter Alvin Cremeans, 57, of Culloden, was sentenced today to five years and 10 months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Morgantown Physician Admits to Tax Fraud
CLARKSBURG, West Virginia, Aug. 27 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia issued the following news release:
David M. Anderson, age 63, of Morgantown, West Virginia, has admitted to filing a false tax return, according to United States Attorney William Ihlenfeld.
According to court documents, Anderson, a physician, filed false tax returns that understated his taxable income, causing a loss to the IRS of $143,599.
