AFIT Civilian Institution Medical Doctor Earns Prestigious Fellowship
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, Aug. 24 -- Air Force Institute of Technology issued the following news:
Air Force Institute of Technology Civilian Institution Programs medical fellow, Maj. Viviana de Assis, DO, was awarded the 2023 Gottesfeld-Hohler Benacerraf Visiting Ultrasound Fellowship. She was one of only two recipients of this prestigious award in the United States.

Man Accused of Killing Juvenile in Flint, MI Arrested by U.S. Marshals in Lima
WASHINGTON, Aug. 24 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Marshals Service issued the following news release:
Lima, OH - This morning, the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Amarion Cain, 18. Cain was wanted out of the 67th District Court in Flint, Michigan for a homicide that occurred in Mt. Morris Township.
It is alleged that on June 25, 2024, Cain and a group of males engaged in a physical altercation in a yard near the 6100 block of Hilton Lane
