Bernalillo County Announces Start of Automated Speed Enforcement Program to Improve Road Safety
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, Aug. 24 -- Bernalillo County issued the following news release on Aug. 23, 2024:
BernCo leaders announced today the start of the automated speed enforcement program with the installation of nearly a dozen speed cameras across Bernalillo County. The automated speed enforcement program, overseen by vendor, Altumint Inc., follows an ordinance passed by Bernalillo County Commissioners in February 2023.
