MADISON, Wisconsin, Aug. 15 -- The University of Wisconsin Madison campus issued the following news:
A unique influenza vaccine candidate that's inhaled and based on technology developed by University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers is safe and could bolster protection against seasonal and pandemic influenza for people vulnerable to severe disease when they receive it in addition to the annual flu shot.

William H. Hatten Park Listed in the National Register of Historic Places
MADISON, Wisconsin, Aug. 16 -- The Wisconsin Historical Society issued the following news release on Aug. 15, 2024:
NEW LONDON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Historical Society announces the listing of William H. Hatten Park in the National Register of Historic Places on August 7, 2024. The park was established in 1935 in New London, Waupaca County.
William H. Hatten Recreation Park was created in 1935 on the western side of New London. The site was donated to the city by local resident Chester Allen.
