Cameron's Keith Vitense Named ACS Fellow
LAWTON, Oklahoma, Aug. 9 (TNSres) -- Cameron University issued the following news release:
Cameron University's Dr. Keith Vitense, a professor emeritus who currently serves as the university's EOO Officer/Title IX Co-Coordinator, has been named an ACS Fellow by the American Chemical Society. Vitense, who retired in June 2020 as a professor in the Department of Chemistry, Physics and Engineering, was a member of the CU faculty for more than 30 years.

Physics' Meyers granted NSF CAREER award for crystal structure research

Dr. Derek Meyers, an assistant professor in the Oklahoma State University Department of Physics, has been awarded an NSF CAREER award totaling $740,000 to fund his research on synthesizing and analyzing artificial crystal structures with behaviors called topological orders.
