MADISON, Wisconsin, Aug. 7 -- The Wisconsin Elections Commission issued the following news:
Four independent presidential candidates filed signatures and paperwork with the Wisconsin Elections Commission by today's 5 p.m. deadline to request their names be placed on the ballot in Wisconsin for President of the United States for the Nov. 5 General Election.

Two deans reappointed after 5-year reviews
MADISON, Wisconsin, Aug. 6 -- The University of Wisconsin Madison campus issued the following news:
Every five years of their tenure, deans of the university's schools and colleges undergo a comprehensive review to assess their academic and administrative leadership and performance.
