Army Corps of Engineers Extends Comment Period for Yazoo Backwater Area Management Draft Environmental Impact Statement to Aug. 27, 2024
VICKSBURG, Mississippi, Aug. 3 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Vicksburg District issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, has announced a 15-day extension of the public comment period for the draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) related to the Yazoo Backwater Area Management Project. Originally set to conclude on August 12, 2024, the new deadline for submitting comments is now August 27, 2024.
