W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Beckley Man Sentenced to Prison for Fentanyl Crime
BECKLEY, West Virginia, Aug. 3 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Aug. 2, 2024:
Derrick Lee Hodge, 35, of Beckley, was sentenced today to two years and six months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for distribution of fentanyl.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on February 1, 2023, Hodge sold a controlled substance containing fentanyl to a confidential informant
