TULSA, Oklahoma, July 12 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma issued the following news release:
A California man who is on active duty with the Army and a former Marine Reserve was arrested at Fort Carson in Colorado. David Julian Mendoza Gonzalez, 26, had an initial appearance before a federal judge in the District of Colorado. He is charged in the Northern District of Oklahoma for Drug Conspiracy and Maintaining a Drug-Involved Premises.

MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma, July 12 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma issued the following news release:
The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Isaac Newman Sockey, age 39, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder stemming from a fatal knife attack on September 8, 2023, at a Tahlequah residence.
