Maine U.S. Attorney: Convicted Drug Trafficker Sentenced to 4 Years After Bangor Police Find Him With Firearm, Drugs During Traffic Stop
BANGOR, Maine, June 22 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Maine issued the following news release on June 21, 2024: A Bangor man was sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Bangor for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and ammunition and to possessing controlled substances with the intent to distribute them. Chief U.S. District Judge Lance E. Walker sentenced Andrew Blais, 37, to 48 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release.  more

PORTLAND, Maine, June 22 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Maine issued the following news release on June 21, 2024: A federal jury convicted a Maine doctor today for unlawfully distributing controlled substances, including oxycodone, hydromorphone, and fentanyl.
