OXFORD, Mississippi, June 19 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Mississippi issued the following news release:
A Southaven woman was ordered to pay more than $80,000 in restitution following her conviction for making a false application for and receiving COVID-19 Payroll Protection loans.

Miss. U.S. Attorney: Starkville Man Sentenced to Prison for Drug Trafficking
OXFORD, Mississippi, June 19 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Mississippi issued the following news release on June 18, 2024:
A Starkville man was sentenced today to over seven years in federal prison for drug trafficking.
According to court documents, Lashadus Harris, 33, previously pled guilty to distribution of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance. Senior U.S. District Court Judge Glen H. Davidson sentenced Harris to 87 months in prison followin
