WASHINGTON, June 13 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
CHARLESTON, W.Va. - More than $2 million has been approved for homeowners and renters in West Virginia, less than a month after President Joe Biden issued a major disaster declaration for the state for the severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, flooding, landslides, and mudslides of April 2-6, 2024.

Ga. U.S. Attorney: Georgian Sentenced to Life Imprisonment for Armed Fentanyl Trafficking in Macon
MACON, Georgia, June 13 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia issued the following news release:
A confirmed member of a local criminal street gang was sentenced to life in prison this week for his role in a prolific armed drug organization in Middle Georgia dealing kilograms of fentanyl and other deadly street drugs often mixed with the lethal synthetic opioid.
