Jacksonville District Delays Start of Sawpit Maintenance Dredging to Accommodate Shorebird Nesting
JACKSONVILLE, Florida, June 14 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Jacksonville District issued the following news release: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, has delayed the maintenance dredging for the federal navigation channel in the vicinity of Sawpit Creek, Nassau County, until early October 2024.
