4 Additional States Join Justice Department's Suit Against Apple for Monopolizing Smartphone Markets
WASHINGTON, June 12 -- The U.S. Department of Justice issued the following news release on June 11, 2024:
The Attorneys General of Indiana, Massachusetts, Nevada and Washington today joined the civil antitrust lawsuit brought by the Justice Department, 15 states and the District of Columbia against Apple in March for monopolizing multiple smartphone markets in violation of Section 2 of the Sherman Act.

Ind. U.S. Attorney: South Bend Man Sentenced to 70 Months in Prison
SOUTH BEND, Indiana, June 11 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana issued the following news release:
Robert Hollins Jr., 41 years old, of South Bend, Indiana, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Damon R. Leichty after pleading guilty to possessing with intent to distribute cocaine, announced United States Attorney Clifford D. Johnson.
Hollins was sentenced to 70 months in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release.
