Finstad Announces 2024 Congressional Art Competition Winner
WASHINGTON, May 31 -- Rep. Brad Finstad, R-Minnesota, issued the following news release:
ROCHESTER, MN - Today, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) announced his selection of "Shades of Winter" by Dean Wang, as the winner of this year's First District Congressional Art Competition.
Dean is a junior at Century High School in Rochester. His artwork will hang in the U.S. Capitol in D.C. for one year. The winner from each district will receive two roundtrip tickets to compliments of Southwest Airline

Rep. Angie Craig Introduces Bill to Up Penalties for Fraud in Federal Programs
WASHINGTON, May 31 -- Rep. Angie Craig, D-Minnesota, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig introduced legislation to crack down even further on fraud in federal programs.
Rep. Craig's Stop Fraud in Federal Programs Act would increase the penalty for Federal Programs Bribery to 20 years in prison and require sponsors to have 3rd party auditors. For example, this would ensure that sponsors, like Feeding Our Future, cannot self-certify that they have delivered
