ABINGDON, Virginia, May 14 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia issued the following news release:
The leader of a wide-ranging methamphetamine conspiracy, who was incarcerated in Georgia at the time, pled guilty last week in U.S. District Court to federal drug charges.

W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Beckley Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Drug Crime
BECKLEY, West Virginia, May 14 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on May 13, 2024:
Davon Jamir Linder, 24, of Beckley, pleaded guilty today to distribution of methamphetamine.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on February 27, 2023, Linder sold a controlled substance containing methamphetamine to a confidential informant in Beckley. Linder admitted to the transaction.
