DES MOINES, Iowa, May 10 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Iowa issued the following news release on May 9, 2024: Civil rights groups filed a federal lawsuit today to block SF 2340, one of the worst, most far-reaching immigration laws ever passed in the state of Iowa. National Mississippi River Museum: Sensory Days Return This Summer at the River Museum
PORT OF DUBUQUE, Iowa, May 10 -- The National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium issued the following news: The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium welcomes anyone who may benefit from a sensory-friendly environment to a series of Sensory Days this summer. The River Museum first hosted Sensory Days in 2022 and have since expanded to include an InSight evening for guests with visual impairments.
