WASHINGTON, April 17 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued the following news release on April 16, 2024:
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service released today a final land protection plan which allows for the protection of up to 700,000 acres of wildlife habitat in the Southern High Plains region along the Texas-New Mexico border as part of the Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge. WASHINGTON, April 17 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued the following news release on April 16, 2024:
The Department of the Interior today announced the expansion of four existing national wildlife refuges, which will allow for the voluntary conservation of up to 1.13 million acres of wildlife habitat in New Mexico, North Carolina and Texas.
