BECKLEY, West Virginia, March 29 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on March 28, 2024: Algie Kenya Scales, 50, of Beckley, pleaded guilty today to distribution of fentanyl. According to court documents and statements made in court, on February 23, 2023, Scales sold approximately 2.7 grams of fentanyl in Beckley for $300.
