National Wildlife Federation EcoLeaders Supports Future Conservationists With Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Partnership
RESTON, Virginia, March 13 -- The National Wildlife Federation issued the following news release:
Seven colleges and universities were awarded grants ranging from $7,500 to $10,000 as part of the EcoLeaders program funded by Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom's College and University Grant Program. The grants will be used to conduct research, restore habitat and advance conservation education for threatened and endangered species within their communities.

SELC Applauds Effort to Reconnect and Rebuild Communities Highways Ripped Apart
WASHINGTON, March 14 -- The Southern Environmental Law Center issued the following news release on March 13, 2024:
Today President Biden announced $3.3 billion awarded through the Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods Program to projects in over 40 states that will help reconnect and rebuild communities divided by transportation infrastructure. The program will fund 15 critical projects in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.
