Fourth Circuit Again Affirms South Carolinians Using Medicaid Can Choose Planned Parenthood as Their Health Care Provider
COLUMBIA, South Carolina, March 6 -- The Planned Parenthood Federation of America issued the following news release on March 5, 2024:
Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit yet again ruled for Planned Parenthood South Atlantic's (PPSAT) patients, affirming that South Carolinians who use Medicaid for their insurance have the right to visit any qualified provider who accepts Medicaid -- and that PPSAT is one of those providers.

National Association for Gun Rights: Constitutional Carry Advances Out of Conference Committee
COLUMBIA, South Carolina, March 6 -- The National Association for Gun Rights issued the following news release on March 5, 2024:
House Bill 3594 has passed out of the Conference Committee. The committee report was subsequently adopted by the House of Representatives. Once the Senate adopts the report, HB 3594 will go to Governor McMaster to be signed into law.
